Hey Day sales, second-hand stores, etc... have always been a source of great treasure for me. What I discovered was that if the books were discarded so it seems were the ideas, and it is refreshing to know that they will find a new home with you Bernie.Miss_3https://www.blogger.com/profile/16219411651736270280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18402408.post-1130681607290288582005-10-30T06:13:00.000-08:002005-10-30T06:13:00.000-08:00Thank you Don and Debbie (Diaper King & Queen). "C...Thank you Don and Debbie (Diaper King & Queen). "Can you teach this . . . ?" Zen asks you to see what is there and ignore what is not; to ignore the illusions surrounding truth - to see the package and toss away the wrapper. There is a picture of Khrishna with a Flaming Sword - it is the sword of discrimination - it cuts away the illusions of the everyday and finds only the essential things ( . . . the essential things, like four grandchildren). It is what Jesus meant when he said, "I come with a sword." A flaming sword comes in a dream. It is a guiding dream. The essense of this is in John 10:34, where Jesus says, "You are God." It is the essense of things with all the crap removed. I've gotta get one of those diaper cakes - they look terrific - but now gotta wait till my four young 'uns start bringing home some grand kids. All the best, BernieBernie Quigleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11360730932876716461noreply@blogger.com
